The Results are In…

Monday, August 24th, 2015

The Erie County Fair has wrapped up with a gate attendance of 1,172,635. This fell just shy of the record setting attendance of 1,220,101 that was achieved in 2014.

While the attendance is a number many look for to wrap up the Fair-season, there are many many more results being posted from each of the competitions and livestock shows throughout the grounds.

Those who are interested in finding out if they or someone they know won a Blue Ribbon can find all of our competitive exhibits results here.

Fuel filled excitement more your speed? Then check out the results for the Ultimate Night of Destruction, Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Truck & Tractor Pull, and World’s Largest Demolition Derby.

Thank you to everyone who competed in the 2015 Erie County Fair! It is that strong spirit of competition that is deeply rooted in the Fair’s traditions.

In just 352 days, let’s do it all over again at the 177th Erie County Fair, August 10-21.

Fair To Offer Gate Admission to Ticket Holders of Canceled Shows

Wednesday, August 12th, 2015

This past Monday, the Erie County Fair was informed by Creative Artists Agency that the Meghan Trainor MTrain Tour concert, scheduled for August 13th at the Erie County Fair was to be cancelled. The announcement stunned both Fair officials and fans alike and followed last month’s cancellation of the Fair’s Little Big Town show. Both performances were cancelled due to ongoing artist medical concerns.

Our ticketing partner, Tickets.com, has announced that the face value of each ticket purchased will be refunded by Friday, August 14th. As disclosed at time of purchase, service fees and convenience fees will not be refunded.

As a result of these two unprecedented concert cancellations that occurred outside the control of the Erie County Fair, Fair management is offering each ticket holder one free gate admission per concert ticket purchased to any remaining day of the Fair. The Fair runs until August 23rd. Customers are asked to bring their original Meghan Trainor and/or Little Big Town tickets to any gate to gain the free Fair gate admission.

“We appreciate the patience and understanding of the ticket holders to these shows,” said Fair CEO and Manager Dennis Lang. “The Fair acknowledges the disappointment and inconveniences  occurred due to these artist cancellations. We hope through the offer of gate admission that fans will still enjoy the Fair.”
