Exciting Day of Racing Planned at the Buffalo Raceway

The Erie County Fair is right around the corner and to end July with a bang, the Erie County Fair along with Buffalo Raceway is hosting the New York County Fair series on Wednesday July 18. The first post is at 1pm on The Fairgrounds in Hamburg for the special annual card.

Over 25 horses are expected to compete in eight races with over $24,000 in purse money up for grab.

The County Fair Series is a non-pari-mutuel series designed for young horses that are building their skills.  The races are held at 22 County Fairs throughout New York State, bringing the excitement to the backyards of thousands each summer.  With no betting and free admission, the County Fair Series offers a family atmosphere for race fans of all ages.

Although the matinee card is non-betting, simulcast wagering will be available from tracks across the country.

Live racing continues at Buffalo Raceway through Sunday, July 22. Post time is 5:00 pm Wednesday, 6:40 pm Friday and Saturday and 1:05 pm on Sunday.  Simulcast wagering from across North America is available Wednesday through Sunday, year round concerts and more.
