Erie County Fair

There are so many delicious options at the Erie County Fair when it comes to Food, but what if you could recreate some of these tasty treats right in your own kitchen?

 The Erie County Fair hosted  Pie and Chocolate Chip Cookie Baking contests on August 15 in the Clubhouse on the Fairgrounds. There were many entries and these award winners took home ribbons for having the most delicious apple pies and chocolate chip cookies.

ERIE COUNTY FAIR PIE BAKING AND COOKIE COMPETITION RESULTS    75 exhibitors entered a total of 34 pies and 41 varieties of chocolate chip cookies into the Erie County Fair Pie Baking Competition and the WILD about Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition on Wednesday, August 15^th.  Below are the winners and their award winning recipes. SINGLE CRUST PIES:1^st Place – Marcy Kamery of Derby, NY 2^nd Place – Joanne Hoffman of Springville, NY
 3^rd Place – Barb Kamierczak of West Seneca, NY DOUBLE CRUST PIES: 1^st Place – Monnie Geiger of North Collins, NY
